Reviews of Durdans Hospital - Colombo

My husband died after 3 days at the Durdans hospital without proper medication. Unlike in government hospitals visiting doctors will not over rule the consultant physician even if they know that it is a decease that can be cured. Consultant physicians are reluctant to refer patients to other specialists until they make their money through insurance covers or other methods like getting useless scans and dragging time. It is impossible to by pass a consultant physician if you are not happy with him. During the past couple of years we have seen many similar incidents during our regular visits to the cardio unit. My advise if you are looking for comfort get your self checked in to a 5* hotel and take pain killers. If you want to be cured with proper medication government hospital is the best option.
