Mr Rilfi, our founder, has an MSc in Computer Science and extensive experience in Research & Development. He identified an issue that is common for many companies involved in the export industry: how to best arrange items in shipping containers and pallets. To address this challenge, he formed a team of co-founders who could help him to solve the problem, establish a startup, and manage marketing and sales globally.

One of these co-founders is Mr Imran Jeevunjee, the director for business at Exploder. Another is Dr Ajmal Hinas, a co-founder, researcher, and PhD holder from Queensland University. He assists Mr Rilfi in solving complex computational and optimization problems. The last co-founder is Miss Nazneen Jevunjee, who is currently working as a data analyst at BBC UK. She

contributes to Exploder by finding investments, handling remote pitches, and conducting meetings with the top decision-makers of export and manufacturing companies.

Partially, the team has solved a space optimization problem, which is one of the most difficult challenges in computational research and is still unresolved. Companies in the export industry have different loading methods to consider, such as vertical, horizontal, mix, floor, pallet, and floor plus pallet loading, all with the aim of preventing damage. This space optimization can be applied to many industries in various ways, providing plenty of opportunities for further exploration and discovery.
