Good cutting quality
I am a customer of sithy gems for over 4 years. I have been using their cutting service to cut various sapphires, garnets, aquamarine, tourmalines

We have always admired their cutting quality. And hope to keep working with them for tears to come

We would recommend sithy gems for their cutting services. I cant comment about their other services as i have yet to use them

Excellent craftsmanship!
We have been working with Sithy gems for few years now over here in Australia and we’ve never had any problems with them, their cutting is truly amazing and their jewelry services are great too.

We can recommend Sithy gems to anyone!

Horrible customer service! Took 3 months to get gems cut and constant emailing to get anything done. They always had some excuse as to why it was taking so long. Sent rough stones and I didn't take pics but should have. It. Seemed like some of my better stones did not come back to me. WILL NOT use them ever again and I hope others will see this and not use them!

Stay away from Sithy Gems in Sri Lanka. I have mined for opals in Nevada for the last (15) years and have some great ones to get cut and polished. The Sithy Gems web site seemed reasonable and I didn’t find negative reviews when I searched the web to check them out, so I decided to take a chance. Here is proof for other people that Sithy Gems is a dishonest place, and you will probably get robbed by them if you send them nice stones.
The emails with Sainul at Sithy Gems in Sri Lanka sounded good and I was promised excellent work at a good price. I sent 190 carats of opal, with 70 carats in three stones of solid grade A fire. The other stones had a face of grade A fire attached to lesser quality material. He said there was 55 carats of completed opals and charged me about 100 dollars for the lapidary work. When I received the final stones they had kept all of the grade A stones and sent me the polished junk that was left over. They know how to use the PayPal system by waiting aver 30 days to get the stones to me after I paid them. When I objected to them taking the stones and asking for them back they did not reply, despite several emails. Lesson learned and passed on to others. Stealing your top stones is a way of business for Sithy Gems in Sri Lanka.
